Children's Ministry

The mission of the children’s ministry of First Advent Christian Church is to lead our children to a relationship with God through a nurturing environment where positive role models are present and the love of God is exhibited. It is our goal to foster the growth of our children in the knowledge and wisdom of the Lord so they may be able to apply Biblical principles to their lives, enabling them to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ with others.
 
The children's ministry serves children from birth through 5th grade. A nursery for those under the age of 3 is available for all services. We have groups for preschoolers and elementary-age kids.  All volunteers receive training to teach our curriculum and must undergo a background check before ministering to our children. Ensuring safety is vital, so we check kids in and out using a digital system.

Each week kids ages 3-12 meet at 5:45 PM for dinner.  From 6:30-7:30, kids age 3 thru Kindergarten form a small group,  and children ages 6-12 form a small group. They are immersed in learning stories from the Bible using interactive games and activities designed to guide them from Genesis to Revelation—to encounter Jesus and to learn the essential doctrines of the Christian faith.
