Adult small groups will begin a new study on Sundays at 10:00 am on the book of Esther.

Promotion Sunday is an exciting day as our children move up to their new groups! Join us as we celebrate their growth, welcome them into their next group, and kick off a new year of learning God's Word together.  

Our guest speaker will be Malik Harris.
Malik is a 2025 graduate of Freedom High School and is a rising sophomore at ASU.  He is recognized for his civic engagement and public speaking.
Malik  has served as a youth representative on the Imagine Morganton 2040 Comprehensive Plan Advisory Committee. He is an award-winning speaker who advanced to the state and national levels of the American Legion Oratorical Contest. He has volunteered with Burke United Christian Ministries, hosted the Inspiring YOUth podcast, and served as Band President and Brass Captain at Freedom High School while sharing his passion for music through tutoring.

Today is our monthly collection of canned foods for Burke United Christian Ministries. Pleas place donations in a bag or a box.

Month of July and August
Penny Crusade is the largest fundraiser for Advent Christian Missions. Last year, North American Advent Christians raised more than $540,000.00 to sustain ministry works in more than 20 countries. This year’s focus in Agape House ministries in Japan where our full-time missionaries Rowena and Erwin Cabrizos work. Agape House ministries include several churches and many community outreach programs. If you would like to donate any amount, place your donation in a tithing envelope and label “Penny Crusade”. Checks can be made to Foothills Christian Church with Penny Crusade in the memo line.

Through August 16
Items needed are: pencils, hilighters, colored pencils, bound composition books, glue sticks, pocket folders and tissues.
Drop supplies in the donation tub outside of the sanctuary.
